Carter Biese Recovery Fundraiser

A Go Fund Me campaign has been created to help Carter and his family in this great time of need.

On Thursday, March 11, 2021, Carter Biese suffered a major crash during a practice session at the Motoplayground Springadingding in Kemp, Texas, sustaining severe head and upper body injuries. Carter was immediately airlifted to Parkland Hospital in Arlington, Texas, where a team of physicians are assessing his injuries.

Carter underwent surgery to repair a torn artery to return blood flow to his arm. His shoulder separated so violently that it tore the artery.  An intercranial pressure monitor and drain was also installed.  Carter was placed in an induced coma and on a ventilator.   He sustained small brain bleeds, as well as some internal bleeding.

Currently the hospital has social distancing restrictions that make it difficult to navigate through this. Carter is allowed one visitor a day to be with him at the hospital.

Carters' medical bills are expected to be substantial even after his insurance is applied. To help offset these costs, a Go Fund Me campaign has been created to help Carter and his family in this great time of need. Carters' father, Scott, was with Carter at the event, however his mom and brother got on the first flight available from their home in Wisconsin to be with Carter in Texas. This is a very difficult time for the Biese family; they are exceedingly grateful for all the prayers and support. As more information on Carters' recovery becomes available, we will update his Carter Biese Recovery Facebook page.
