A Commitment to Local Sourcing - US-based sourcing for the A5 and C5 line increases our cost of goods nearly 30%. We’re committed to American Assembly for the A5 and C5 lines, not only because it improves product quality, but because it adds a strong sense of place and personality to our brand. Preservation for the Next Generation - Sustainability is at the very core of our business. This not only relates to our interest in building durable products that can last for decades, but also to our goal of protecting and preserving the great outdoors. As a member of 1% for the Planet we've committed to donating 1% of our sales to support environmental non-profits.
While there are a lot beautiful fashion watches and a lot of rugged outdoor watches available, there aren’t very many timepieces that succeed at both. Our goal with Vaer is to combine durability and design into a single, well-priced package.

Vaer watches combine best-in-class durability with timeless design and functionality. Our C5 and A5 lines are simultaneously rugged and refined. Take your pick between our C5 Quartz and our A5 Automatic, both styles offering extreme timekeeping accuracy, impressive scratch and water resistance, easy interchangeability, and the distinctive characteristic of full United States assembly.
In addition to being offered in a variety of distinct dial options, every watch comes standard with two interchangeable bands. Our Vaer band options include a range of both ocean-ready bands designed for water-based activities, as well as our premium Horween leather straps which are tanned in Chicago and handmade in the USA from heavy native steer hides. Every Vaer C5 and A5 Watch is hand-assembled and tested in America and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
