Team Dunlop Elite riders head into 2020
Buffalo, NY: 2020 marks the 14th year of Team Dunlop Elite, one of the most successful amateur motocross support programs in the country. This year several Team Dunlop Elite riders have graduated out of the program and are on their way toward their professional racing debut as many other Team Dunlop Elite grads have, including Eli Tomac, Justin Barcia, Aaron Plessinger, Adam Cianciarulo, Blake Baggett, Chase Sexton, Austin Forkner and more.
For 2020, one new 50cc rider has been selected to join the Team Dunlop Elite squad: Eidan Steinbrecher. He will line up with returning Elite team riders Drew Adams, Daxton Bennick, Logan Best, Casey Cochran, Haiden Deegan, Seth Dennis, Ryder Ellis, Kade Johnson, Mikayla Nielsen, Gavin Towers and record setting nine-year Team Dunlop Elite veteran Ryder DiFrancesco.
Dunlop’s support of amateur motocross racing is unrivaled in the U.S. In 2019 alone, riders chose Dunlop’s Geomax® tires to win 33 of 36 titles at the Loretta Lynn’s amateur nationals, take every title at Mini O’s, and also win every moto and title in the inaugural Supercross Futures championship.
“Our support for amateur racing continues to gain momentum, and the results speak for themselves,” said Rob Fox, Amateur Motocross Support Manager. “The Team Dunlop program continues to see our amateur riders make successful transitions to the pro ranks and join many other riders in chasing their dream of winning a professional championship. Supporting that journey is what it’s all about for Dunlop.”
