A 2000KM MOTORCYCLE JOURNEY

Raising Funds & Awareness For Men's Mental Health & Prostate Cancer Research

A Motorcycle Journey, Over 2 Australian states, through Kangaroo territory, covering Asphalt, Sand, Gravel, and white metal roads with one leg completing THE GREAT OCAN ROAD, Australia’s most famous road, The journey will start from Adelaide, South Australia then heading onto Melbourne, Victoria before returning back to Adelaide. All in the name of men’s mental health & prostate cancer.

Matt is a motorbike enthusiast and has recently finished building a motorbike that he will be riding from Adelaide to Melbourne and back again from the 26th September to 3rd October. He has gathered some great men to join him on his journey and together they are @coasttocoasttour , They will cover 2000+kms along the way and will be followed by a photographer who will be documenting the trip.

He is holding a fundraising Auction at The published Art House in Adelaide on the 15th September 2018 to raise money for Men’s Mental Health and Prostate Cancer, with all proceeds going towards The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride.

With the 10 year anniversary of a motorcycle accident that left Matt with no movement from the knee down in his left leg and being told he will never ride a Motorcycle again, he knows quite well the devastation that depression and anxiety can cause.

Also losing his grandfather to prostate cancer and witnessing his friends and family struggle with mental health, Matt felt compelled to stand up for the men in his life, to help take away the stigma of mental health and raise awareness of prostate cancer.

With 1 in every 5 men suffering a mental health issue and prostate cancer being the second leading cause of death in men, this is an issue that effects everyone.
